As we mentioned earlier this week, we are proud to report that we will be holding court over the next month at Le Bon Marche, Paris' storied department store. At over 160 years old, Le Bon Marche was one of the first department stores in the world and rings in as France's largest at 7,300 sq. ft, taking up an entire city block housing luxury fashion, accessories, beauty goods and home furnishings.

Guess Who's In The Chad's Now...

NBA superstar Tyson Chandler stopped by our Bond st. location and picked up a pair of our best-selling Chad sunglasses after previewing our collection with none other than Selima herself! What can we say -we look up to not only his moves on the court, but also his sartorial direction as well.

*Note that since Mr. Chandler is quite tall, he opted for our Chad 2, which is one size larger than the classic Chad frame.

Anne Deniau Book Signing June 11th, at Bond 07

On Tuesday June 11th Bond 07 by Selima will be hosting a book signing for “Love Looks Not With The Eyes,” Anne Deniau’s much celebrated book capturing the career of Alexander McQueen from the backstage to the runway. 

From 1997 to 2010, Anne Deniau was the first and only photographer to be given exclusive access to the legendary spectacles that McQueen shows were revered for. This is her only book signing in NYC and is not to be missed.

At Christie's yesterday evening we were treated to a preview of the auction house's latest exhibit "A Queen Within: Adorned Archetypes, Fashion & Chess," celebrating the unpredictability, power and lure of the queen figure. Rare pieces from Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan, Gucci, Martin Margiela and Viktor & Rolf were on hand to demonstrate the impact of daring, provocative and beautifully crafted fashion.
